I have been painting and drawing all my life. This arises spontaneously from the things I love most, not the least of which is writing, which naturally makes me want to depict places and characters. This process is somewhat nonlinear and has a life of its own. Like a feral cat, it comes and goes as it pleases; when it comes around, I feed and care for it, and don't try to force things when it's done with me. It is a wild and graceful friend, albeit not that reliable.
